In March 2013, there were 1 235 930 foreign arrivals to South Africa. The arrivals were made up of 59 262 non-visitors and 1 176 668 visitors. The visitors consist of 361 593 same-day visitors and 815 075 overnight visitors (tourists). The breakdown of the tourists by region is as follows: 249 009 from overseas; 545 047 from the SADC countries; 19 126 from `other` African countries and 1 893 unspecified.
