In February 2013, there were 1 101 684 foreign arrivals to South Africa. The arrivals were made up of 56 371 non-visitors and 1 045 313 visitors. The visitors consist of 329 544 same-day visitors and 715 769 overnight visitors (tourists). The breakdown of the tourists by region is as follows: 240 387 from overseas; 454 820 from the SADC countries; 18 821 from 'other' African countries and 1 741 unspecified.
