In November 2012, there were 1 190 293 foreign arrivals to South Africa. The arrivals were made up of 52 710 non-visitors and 1 137 583 visitors. The visitors consist of 356 487 same-day visitors and 781 096 overnight visitors (tourists). The breakdown of the tourists by region is as follows: 241 413 from overseas; 518 218 from the SADC countries; 18 862 from `other` African countries and 2 603 unspecified.
