In June 2011, there were 920 061 foreign arrivals to South Africa. The arrivals were made up of 19 629 non-visitors and 900 432 visitors. The visitors consist of 300 632 same-day visitors and 599 800 overnight visitors (tourists). The breakdown of the tourists by region is as follows: 139 063 from overseas; 444 700 from the SADC countries; 13 988 from `other` African countries and 2 049 unspecified.
