In March 2010, there were 862 333 foreign arrivals to South Africa. The arrivals were made up of 33 355 non-visitors and 828 978 visitors. The visitors consist of 225 499 same-day visitors and 603 479 overnight visitors (tourists). The breakdown of the tourists by region is as follows: 181 125 from overseas; 406 395 from SADC countries; 12 931 from `other` African countries and 3 028 unspecified.
