In February 2010, there were 816 363 foreign arrivals to South Africa. The arrivals were made up of 29 223 non-visitors and 787 140 visitors. The visitors consist of 203 1361 same-day visitors and 584 009 overnight visitors (tourists). The breakdown of the tourists by region is as follows: 177 165 from overseas; 391 259 from SADC countries; 12 327 from other African countries and 3 258 unspecified.
