Monthly changes in the CPAP indices

In October 2017, month-on-month percentage changes in the work group indices ranged from -0,2% for work group 110 to 3,3% for work group 124. 

Noteworthy changes in the results for October 2017 are as follows:

  • Work group 110: The monthly percentage decrease of 0,2% reflected by this index was mainly due to a 0,3% monthly decrease in the PPI for Cement retail price, which accounts for 45,0% and 0,4% monthly decrease in the PPI for Sand, which accounts for 13,0% of the index.
  • Work group 141: The monthly percentage increase of 2,8% reflected by this index was mainly due to a 5,3% monthly increase in the PPI for Stainless steel products - flat rolled, which accounts for 50,0% of the index.
  • Work group 160: The monthly percentage increase of 2,8% reflected by this index was mainly due to a 5,1% monthly increase in SEIFSA indices for Trunk index, which accounts for 30,0% of the index.
  • Work group 162: The monthly percentage increase of 3,0% reflected by this index was mainly due to a 7,2% monthly increase in SEIFSA indices for Aluminium products, which accounts for 25,0% of the index.
  • Work group 124: The monthly percentage increase of 3,3% reflected by this index was mainly due to a 3,9% monthly increase in SEIFSA indices for Galvanised Sheets, which accounts for 85,0% of the index.
