Key findings: P0151 - Contract Price Adjustment Provisions Work Group Indices (CPAP), June 2016

In June 2016, month-on-month percentage changes in the work group indices ranged from -0,6% for work group 116 to 5,9% for work group 124. The Consumer Price Index for June 2016 increased by 0,6% month-on-month. 

 
The six indices reflecting monthly percentage changes mainly due to factors other than the headline CPI are:

 

  • Work group 116: The monthly percentage decrease of 0,6% reflected by this index was mainly due to a 1,5% monthly decrease in the PPI for Bricks – Stock, which accounts for approximately 35,0%, and a 1,5% monthly decrease in the PPI Bricks – Face, which accounts for approximately 10,0% of the work group 116 index.

 

  • Work group 120: The monthly percentage increase of 3,1% reflected by this index was mainly due to a 3,7% monthly increase in the PPI for Modified Bitumen Sheeting, which accounts for approximately 53,0% of the work group 120 index.

 

  • Work group 154: The monthly percentage increase of 3,8% reflected by this index was mainly due to an 18,3% monthly increase in the PPI for Bitumen, which accounts for approximately 21,0% of the work group 154 index.

 

  • Work group 162: The monthly percentage increase of 4,4% reflected by this index was mainly due to a 7,0% monthly increase in SEIFSA indices for Galvanised Sheets, which accounts for approximately 20,0% of the work group 162 index.

 

  • Work group 136: The monthly percentage increase of 4,5% reflected by this index was mainly due to a 9,6% monthly increase in the PPI for Small steel sections, which accounts for approximately 30,0%, and a 9,9% monthly increase in SEIFSA indices for Light section, which accounts for approximately 10,0% of the work group 136 index.

 

  • Work group 124: The monthly percentage increase of 5,9% reflected by this index was mainly due to a 7,0% monthly increase in SEIFSA indices for Galvanised Sheets, which accounts for approximately 85,0% of the work group 124 index.
