KEY FINDINGS FOR THE YEAR 2008
 
The average annual rate of increase in the PPI for domestic output is higher at 14,2% for the year 2008 (i.e. the average PPI for the year 2008 compared with that for the year 2007).
 
The average annual rate of increase in the PPI for domestic output for the year 2008 is 14,2% (i.e. the average PPI for the year 2008 compared with that for the year 2007). The average annual rate of 14,2% is 3,3 percentage points higher than the corresponding average annual rate of 10,9% for the year 2007 (i.e. the average PPI for the year 2007 compared with that for the year 2006), while it is 6,6 percentage points higher than the corresponding average annual rate of 7,6 for the year 2006 (i.e. the average PPI for the year 2006 compared with that for the year 2005).
 
KEY FINDINGS AS AT DECEMBER 2008
 
The annual percentage change in the PPI is lower at +11,0% at December 2008 (i.e. the PPI at December 2008 compared with that at December 2007).
 
The Producer Price Index (PPI) for domestic output shows an annual rate of change of 11,0%at December 2008 (i.e. the PPI at December 2008 compared with that at December 2007). This rate is 1,6 percentage points lower than the corresponding annual rate of 12,6% at November 2008  (i.e. the PPI at November 2008 compared with that at November 2007).
 
From November 2008 to December 2008 the PPI for domestic output decreased by 1,1%.
