Key findings: P0142.1 - Producer Price Index (PPI), July 2007
The annual percentage change in the PPI is lower at + 10,3% at July 2007 (i.e. the PPI at July 2007 compared with that at July 2006).
The Production Price Index (PPI) for all commodities for South African consumption shows an annual rate of change of 10,3% at July 2007 (i.e. the PPI at July 2007 compared with that at July 2006). This rate is 0,1 of a percentage point lower than the corresponding annual rate of 10,4% at June 2007 (i.e. the PPI at June 2007 compared with that at June 2006).
From June 2007 to July 2007 the PPI for all commodities for South African consumption increased by 1,6%.
