Key findings: P0142.1 - Producer Price Index (PPI), June 2007
The annual percentage change in the PPI is lower at + 10,4% at June 2007 (i.e. the PPI at June 2007 compared with that at June 2006).
The Production Price Index (PPI) for all commodities for South African consumption shows an annual rate of change of 10,4% at June 2007 (i.e. the PPI at June 2007 compared with that at June 2006). This rate is 0,9 of a percentage point lower than the corresponding annual rate of 11,3% at May 2007 (i.e. the PPI at May 2007 compared with that at May 2006).
From May 2007 to June 2007 the PPI for all commodities for South African consumption increased by 2,1%.
