Key findings: P0142.1 - Producer Price Index (PPI), May 2007
The annual percentage change in the PPI is higher at + 11,3% at May 2007 (i.e. the PPI at May 2007 compared with that at May 2006).
The Production Price Index (PPI) for all commodities for South African consumption shows an annual rate of change of 11,3% at May 2007 (i.e. the PPI at May 2007 compared with that at May 2006). This rate is 0,2 of a percentage point higher than the corresponding annual rate of 11,1% at April 2007 (i.e. the PPI at April 2007 compared with that at April 2006).
From April 2007 to May 2007 the PPI for all commodities for South African consumption increased by 1,1%.
