Key findings: P0142.1 - Producer Price Index (PPI), March 2007
The annual percentage change in the PPI is higher at + 10,3% at March 2007 (i.e. the PPI at March 2007 compared with that at March 2006).
The Production Price Index (PPI) for all commodities for South African consumption shows an annual rate of change of 10,3% at March 2007 (i.e. the PPI at March 2007 compared with that at March 2006). This rate is 0,8 of a percentage point higher than the corresponding annual rate of 9,5% at February 2007 (i.e. the PPI at February 2007 compared with that at February 2006).
From February 2007 to March 2007 the PPI for all commodities for South African consumption increased by 1,2%.
