The annual percentage change in the PPI is lower at + 9,5% at February 2007 (i.e. the PPI at February 2007 compared with that at February 2006).

The Production Price Index (PPI) for all commodities for South African consumption shows an annual rate of change of 9,5% at February 2007 (i.e. the PPI at February 2007 compared with that at February 2006). This rate is 0,3 of a percentage point lower than the corresponding annual rate of 9,8% at January 2006 (i.e. the PPI at January 2006 compared with that at January 2005).

From January 2006 to February 2007 the PPI for all commodities for South African consumption decreased by 0,1%.
