Key findings: P0142.1 - Producer Price Index (PPI), October 2006
Annual percentage change in the PPI is higher at + 10,0% at October 2006 (i.e. the PPI at October 2006 compared with that at October 2005).
The Production Price Index (PPI) for all commodities for South African consumption shows an annual rate of change of + 10,0% at October 2006 (i.e. the PPI at October 2006 compared with that at October 2005). This rate is 1,0 percentage point higher than the corresponding annual rate of + 9,0% at September 2006 ( i.e. the PPI at September 2006 compared with that at September 2005).
From September 2006 to October 2006 the PPI for all commodities for South African consumption increased by 1,0%.
