Key findings: P0142.1 - Producer Price Index (PPI), July 2006
Annual percentage change in the PPI is higher at + 8,1% at July 2006 (i.e. the PPI at July 2006 compared with that at July 2005)
The Production Price Index (PPI) for all commodities for South African consumption shows an annual rate of change of + 8,1% at July 2006 (i.e. the PPI at July 2006 compared with that at July 2005). This rate is 0,6 of a percentage point higher than the corresponding annual rate of + 7,5% at June 2006 (i.e. the PPI at June 2006 compared with that at June 2005)
From June 2006 to July 2006 the PPI for all commodities for South African consumption increased by 1,7%.
