The Production Price Index (PPI) for all commodities for South African consumption shows an annual rate of change of + 5,4% at March 2006 (i.e. the PPI at March 2006 compared with that at March 2005). This rate is 0,1 of a percentage point lower than the corresponding annual rate of + 5,5% at February 2006 (i.e. the PPI at February 2006 compared with that at February 2005)

From February 2006 to March 2006 the PPI for all commodities for South African consumption increased by 0,4%.
