Key findings: P0142.1 - Producer Price Index (PPI), October 2005
Annual percentage change in the PPI is lower at + 4,2% at October 2005 (i.e. the PPI at October 2005 compared with that at October 2004)
The Production Price Index (PPI) for all commodities for South African consumption shows an annual rate of change of + 4,2% at October 2005 (i.e. the PPI at October 2005 compared with that at October 2004). This rate is 0,4 of a percentage point lower than the corresponding annual rate of + 4,6% at September 2005 (i.e. the PPI at September 2005 compared with that at September 2004)
From September 2005 to October 2005 the PPI for all commodities for South African consumption increased by 0,1%.
