Key findings: P0142.1 - Producer Price Index (PPI), July 2005
Annual percentage change in the PPI is higher at + 3,6% at July 2005 (i.e. the PPI at July 2005 compared with that at July 2004)
The Production Price Index (PPI) for all commodities for South African consumption shows an annual rate of change of + 3,6% at July 2005 (i.e. the PPI at July 2005 compared with that at July 2004). This rate is 1,3 percentage points higher than the corresponding annual rate of + 2,3% at June 2005 (i.e. the PPI at June 2005 compared with that at June 2004).
From June 2005 to July 2005 the PPI for all commodities for South African consumption increased by 1,1%.
