Key findings: P0142.1 - Producer Price Index (PPI), June 2005
Annual percentage change in the PPI is lower at + 2,3% at June 2005 (i.e. the PPI at June 2005 compared with that at June 2004)
The Production Price Index (PPI) for all commodities for South African consumption shows an annual rate of change of + 2,3% at June 2005 (i.e. the PPI at June 2005 compared with that at June 2004). This rate is 0,1 of a percentage point lower than the corresponding annual rate of + 2,4% at May 2005 (i.e. the PPI at May 2005 compared with that at May 2004).
From May 2005 to June 2005 the PPI for all commodities for South African consumption increased by 1,5%.
