Key findings: P0142.1 - Producer Price Index (PPI), April 2005
Annual percentage change in the PPI is lower at + 1,8% at April 2005 (i.e. the PPI at April 2005 compared with that at April 2004)
The Production Price Index (PPI) for all commodities for South African consumption shows an annual rate of change of + 1,8% at April 2005 (i.e. the PPI at April 2005 compared with that at April 2004). This rate is 0,1 of a percentage point lower than the corresponding annual rate of + 1,9% at March 2005 (i.e. the PPI at March 2005 compared with that at March 2004).
From March 2005 to April 2005 the PPI for all commodities for South African consumption increased by 0,9%.
