Key findings: P0141 - Consumer Price Index (CPI), January 2013
The headline inflation rate in January 2013 (i.e. the Consumer Price Index for all urban areas in January 2013 compared with that at January 2012) was 5,4%
The official inflation rate (i.e. the percentage change in the CPI for all urban areas in January 2013 compared with that in January 2012) was 5,4% at January 2013. This rate was 0,3 of a percentage point lower than the corresponding annual rate of 5,7% in December 2012 (i.e. the Consumer Price Index for all urban areas in December 2012 compared with that in December 2011).
From December 2012 to January 2013 the Consumer Price Index for all urban increased by 0,3%.
