The official inflation rate (i.e. the percentage change in the CPI for all urban areas in December 2012 compared with that in December 2011) was 5,7% at December 2012. This rate was 0,1 of a percentage point higher than the corresponding annual rate of 5,6% in November 2012 (i.e. the Consumer Price Index for all urban areas in November 2012 compared with that in November 2011).

From November 2012 to December 2012 the Consumer Price Index for all urban increased by 0,2%.
