The official inflation rate (i.e. the percentage change in the CPI for all urban areas in October 2012 compared with that in October 2011) was 5,6% at October 2012. This rate was 0,1 of a percentage point higher than the corresponding annual rate of 5,5% in September 2012 (i.e. the Consumer Price Index for all urban areas in September 2012 compared with that in September 2011).

From September 2012 to October 2012 the Consumer Price Index for all urban increased by 0,6%.
