The official inflation rate (i.e. the percentage change in the CPI for all urban areas in September 2012 compared with that in September 2011) was 5,5% at September 2012. This rate was 0,5 of a percentage point higher than the corresponding annual rate of 5,0% in August 2012 (i.e. the Consumer Price Index for all urban areas in August 2012 compared with that in August 2011).

From August 2012 to September 2012 the Consumer Price Index for all urban increased by 0,9%.
