The official inflation rate (i.e. the percentage change in the CPI for all urban areas in April 2012 compared with that in April 2011) was 6,1% at April 2012. This rate was 0,1 of a percentage point higher than the corresponding annual rate of 6,0% in March 2012 (i.e. the Consumer Price Index for all urban areas in March 2012 compared with that in March 2011).

From March 2012 to April 2012 the Consumer Price Index for all urban increased by 0,4%.
