The headline inflation rate in May 2011 (i.e. the Consumer Price Index for all urban areas in May 2011 compared with that at May 2010) was 4,6%

The official inflation rate (i.e. the percentage change in the CPI for all urban areas in May 2011 compared with that in May 2010) was 4,6% at May 2011. This rate was 0,4 of a percentage point higher than the corresponding annual rate of 4,2% in April 2011 (i.e. the Consumer Price Index for all urban areas in April 2011 compared with that in April 2010).

From April 2011 to May 2011 the Consumer Price Index for all urban increased by 0,5%.
