The headline inflation rate in January 2011 (i.e. the Consumer Price Index for all urban areas in January 2011 compared with that at January 2010) was 3,7%

The official inflation rate (i.e. the percentage change in the CPI for all urban areas in January 2011 compared with that in January 2010) was 3,7% at January 2011. This rate was 0,2 of a percentage point higher than the corresponding annual rate of 3,5% in December 2010 (i.e. the Consumer Price Index for all urban areas in December 2010 compared with that in December 2009).

From December 2010 to January 2011 the Consumer Price Index for all urban increased by 0,4%.
