Key findings: P0141 - Consumer Price Index (CPI), October 2010
The headline inflation rate in October 2010 (i.e. the Consumer Price Index for all urban areas in October 2010 compared with that at October 2009) was 3,4%
The official inflation rate (i.e. the percentage change in the CPI for all urban areas in October 2010 compared with that in October 2009) was 3,4% at October 2010. This rate was 0,2 of a percentage point higher than the corresponding annual rate of 3,2% in September 2010 (i.e. the Consumer Price Index for all urban areas in September 2010 compared with that in September 2009).
From September 2010 to October 2010 the Consumer Price Index for all urban increased by 0,2%.
