This rate was 0,3 of a percentage point higher than the corresponding annual rate of 9,0% at December 2007 (i.e. the percentage change in the CPI for the historical metropolitan areas at December 2007 compared with that at December 2006).

From December 2007 to January 2008 the Consumer Price Index for the historical metropolitan areas increased by 1,1%.
