Key findings: P0044 - Quarterly financial statistics (QFS), December 2006
Key findings for the quarter ended December 2006
The total turnover of all industries1 excluding agriculture, financial intermediation and insurance and government institutions for the fourth quarter of 2006 was estimated at R1 030 387 million (R1,03 trillion), the first time it has exceeded one trillion rand in a quarter. This was an increase of 16,1% on the fourth quarter of 2005 and 3,4% more than the third quarter of 2006.
