Key findings: P0043 - Statistics of Liquidations and insolvencies, November 2020
The total number of liquidations increased by 30,7% in the three months ended November 2020 compared with the three months ended November 2019. A year-on-year increase of 24,2% was recorded in November 2020.
Liquidations of companies increased by 31 cases and liquidations of close corporations increased by 22 cases.The total number of liquidations decreased by 1,4% in the first eleven months of 2020 compared with the first eleven months of 2019.
The estimated number of insolvencies
decreased by 49,2% in the three months ended October 2020 compared with the
three months ended October 2019. There was a year-on-year decrease of 47,1% in
October 2020.
