Key findings: P0043 - Statistics of Liquidations and insolvencies, September 2020
The total number of liquidations
increased by 27,4% in the third quarter of 2020 compared with the third quarter
of 2019. A year-on-year increase of 54,0% was recorded in September 2020.
Voluntary liquidations increased by 65 cases and compulsory liquidations
increased by 9 cases.
The estimated number of insolvencies decreased by 61,3% in the three months ended August 2020 compared with the three months ended August 2019. There was a year-on-year decrease of 59,4% in August 2020.Seasonally adjusted insolvencies decreased by 30,0% in August 2020 compared with July 2020. This followed month-on-month changes of -21,1% in July 2020 and 128,0% in June 2020.
