Key findings: P0043 - Statistics of Liquidations and insolvencies, April 2019

The total number of liquidations increased by 53,1% (60 more cases) in April 2019 compared with April 2018. Voluntary liquidations increased by 41 cases, while compulsory liquidations increased by 19 cases.

The total number of liquidations increased by 10,0% in the first four months of 2019 compared with the first four months of 2018.

The estimated number of insolvencies increased by 30,1% in March 2019 compared with March 2018. A 31,1% increase was estimated in the first quarter of 2019 compared with the first quarter of 2018.

Seasonally adjusted insolvencies decreased by 7,1% in March 2019 compared with February 2019. This followed month-on-month changes of 10,0% in February 2019 and -11,7% in January 2019.
