Key findings: P0043 - Statistics of Liquidations and insolvencies, December 2022
The number of liquidations decreased by 1,3% in 2022 compared with 2021. Liquidations of close corporations decreased by 6,7% (from 875 to 816), while liquidations of companies increased by 3,2% (from 1 057 to 1 091). The total number of liquidations increased by 6,4% in the fourth quarter of 2022 compared with the fourth quarter of 2021. There was a year-on-year increase of 30,3% in December 2022.
