Key findings: P0043 - Statistics of Liquidations and insolvencies, July 2021

The total number of liquidations decreased by 6,5% in the three months ended July 2021 compared with the three months ended July 2020. A year-on-year decrease of 14,5% was recorded in July 2021. Voluntary liquidations decreased by 23 cases and compulsory liquidations decreased by 5 cases.

The total number of liquidations increased by 21,5% in the first seven months of 2021 compared with the first seven months of 2020.

 

The estimated number of insolvencies increased by 103,1% in the second quarter of 2021 compared with the second quarter of 2020. There was a year-on-year increase of 147,8% in June 2021. Seasonally adjusted insolvencies increased by 784,4% (from 32 to 283 cases) in June 2021 compared with May 2021. This followed month-on-month changes of 10,3% in May 2021 and -72,9% in April 2021.
