Key findings: P0043 - Statistics of Liquidations and insolvencies, November 2017
The total number of liquidations showed a year-on-year increase of 35,0% in November 2017. Voluntary liquidations increased by 47 cases while compulsory liquidations increased by 9 cases.
There was an increase of 10,7% in the three months ended November 2017 compared with the three months ended November 2016. The total number of liquidations recorded for the first eleven months of 2017 decreased by 4,4% compared with the first eleven months of 2016.
The number of insolvencies estimated was 249 in October 2017, showing a year-on-year increase of 13,7%. There was an increase of 21,0% in the three months ended October 2017 compared with the three months ended October 2016.
Seasonally adjusted insolvencies decreased by 9,9% in October 2017 compared with September 2017. This followed month-on-month changes of 9,2% in September 2017 and
-0,8% in August 2017.
