Key findings: P0043 - Statistics of Liquidations and insolvencies, February 2017
The total number of liquidations recorded decreased by 24,4% (47 fewer liquidations) year-on-year in February 2017. Voluntary liquidations decreased by 47 cases while compulsory liquidations remained unchanged during this period. There was a decrease of 27,7% in the first two months of 2017 compared with the first two months of 2016.
The estimated number of insolvencies decreased by 13,3% year-on-year in January 2017. A 12,6% decrease was estimated in the three months ended January 2017 compared with the three months ended January 2016.
