Key findings: P0043 - Statistics of Liquidations and insolvencies, October 2015
The total number of liquidations recorded increased by 16,1% (27 more cases) year-on-year in October 2015. Voluntary liquidations increased by 46 cases while compulsory liquidations decreased by 19 cases. Liquidations increased by 8,3% in the three months ended October 2015 compared with the three months ended October 2014. There was a decrease of 3,8% in the first ten months of 2015 compared with the first ten months of 2014.
The estimated number of insolvencies decreased by 22,2% year-on-year in September 2015. A 24,4% decrease was estimated between the third quarter of 2014 and the third quarter of 2015. There was a decrease of 14,4% (from 2 362 to 2 021) in the first nine months of 2015 compared with the first nine months of 2014.
