Key findings: P0043 - Statistics of Liquidations and insolvencies, June 2014
The number of liquidations increased by 3,1% year-on-year in June 2014. The number of compulsory liquidations increased by 73, while voluntary liquidations decreased by 67 over this period. The number of liquidations in the second quarter of 2014 increased by 1,1% compared with the second quarter of 2013. There was a decrease of 21,0% in the first six months of 2014 compared with the first six months of 2013.
The number of insolvencies decreased by 11,9% in May 2014 compared with May 2013. A 9,1% decrease was estimated between the three months ended May 2013 and the three months ended May 2014. There was a decrease of 3,3% in the first five months of 2014 compared with the first five months of 2013.
