Key findings: P0043 - Statistics of Liquidations and insolvencies, January 2011
The total number of liquidations recorded for the three months ended January 2011 decreased by 13,9% (from 1 075 to 926) compared with the three months ended January 2010. A year-on-year increase of 24,8% (from 206 to 257) was recorded for January 2011 compared with January 2010.
The total number of insolvencies for 2010 decreased by 33,0% (from 5 724 to 3 835) compared with 2009. A year-on-year decrease of 30,4% (from 418 to 291) was estimated for December 2010. There was a 28,3% decrease (from 1 316 to 943) in the fourth quarter of 2010 compared with the fourth quarter of 2009.
