Key findings: P0043 - Statistics of Liquidations and insolvencies, January 2010
The total number of liquidations recorded for the three months ended January 2010 increased by 25,4% (from 857 to 1 075) compared with the three months ended January 2009 The total number of liquidations recorded for January 2010 decreased by 23,7% (from 270 to 206) compared with January 2009.
The total number of insolvencies recorded for 2009 increased by 0,5% (from 4 468 to 4 490) compared with 2008. The estimated number of insolvencies recorded for December 2009 increased by 1,3% (from 385 to 390) compared with December 2008. The fourth quarter of 2009 reflected a decrease of 7,9% (from 1 334 to 1 228) compared with the fourth quarter of 2008.
