Key findings: P0043 - Statistics of Liquidations and insolvencies, February 2008
The total number of liquidations recorded for the two months ended February 2008 increased by 6,0% (from 368 to 390) when compared with the two months ended February 2007. This is the first time since February 2002 (19,7%) that an increase in the number of liquidations was reported for the first two months of the year.
The total number of insolvencies recorded for the three months ended January 2008 increased by 37,2% (from 336 to 461) compared with the three months ended January 2007.
