Key findings: P0041 - Statistics of civil cases for debt, December 2009
The year 2009 reflected a 10,9% increase in the total number of civil summonses issued for debt compared with 2008. An increase of 4,8% was recorded between the fourth quarter of 2008 and the fourth quarter of 2009.
The total number of civil judgements recorded for debt in 2009 increased by 10,4% compared with 2008. An increase of 16,8% was recorded between the fourth quarter of 2008 and the fourth quarter of 2009.
The total value of civil judgements recorded for debt for 2009 increased by 20,3% compared with 2008. A 25,7% increase was recorded between the fourth quarter of 2008 and the fourth quarter of 2009, after a 23,4% annual increase in the third quarter of 2009.
