Key findings: P0041 - Statistics of civil cases for debt, May 2009
The total number of civil summonses issued for debt for the three months ended May 2009 increased by 10,4% compared with the three months ended May 2008. There was also a 1,8% increase between May 2008 and May 2009.
The total number of civil judgements recorded for debt for the three months ended May 2009 was 8,2% higher compared with the three months ended May 2008. There was, however, a 4,2% decrease between May 2008 and May 2009.
The total value of civil judgements recorded for debt for the three months ended May 2009 increased by 21,1% compared with the three months ended May 2008. There was also a 14,2% increase between May 2008 and May 2009.
