Key findings: P0041 - Statistics of civil cases for debt, July 2008
The total number of civil summonses issued for debt for the three months ended July 2008 decreased by 8,0% compared with the three months ended July 2007 following a 9,1% decrease for the three months ended June 2008. The total number of civil judgements recorded for debt for the three months ended July 2008 decreased by 14,9% compared with the three months ended July 2007. There was also a decrease of 12,6% between July 2008 and July 2007. The total value of civil judgements recorded for the three months ended July 2008 decreased by 2,3% compared with the three months ended July 2007. However, there was an increase of 18,6% in the value of civil judgements recorded for debt between July 2008 and July 2007.
