Key findings: P0041 - Statistics of civil cases for debt, December 2006
The total number of civil summonses issued for debt during 2006 increased by 8,5% (+111 445 summonses) compared with 2005. The total number of civil judgements recorded for debt during 2006 decreased by 5,4% (-47 953 judgements) compared with 2005. The total value of civil judgements recorded for debt during 2006 decreased by 1,0% (-R66,9 million) compared with 2005.
