Camdeboo

Camdeboo Local Municipality which incorporates the towns of Graaff-Reinet, Aberdeen, and Nieu-Bethesda is strategically situated as a portal to the mystical Karoo in an area renowned for its pristine natural environment, rich heritage, diverse peoples and cultures. The area (12,422km²) boasts a number of popular tourist attractions, beautiful landscapes and a healthy climate. Being situated in an arid area within the Cacadu district, Camdeboo faces many challenges, the biggest of which is water.The lack of sustainable and permanent water is probably the most inhibiting factor in the area’s development, as it restricts both agricultural and industrial activities. Lukhanji

Lukhanji is a category B municipality situated within the Chris Hani District of the Eastern Cape. It is made up of a combination of the greater Queenstown and surrounding farms and villages, Ilinge, Hewu/Whittlesea and Ntabethemba. Lukhanji is landlocked by the municipalities of Tsolwana and Inkwanca to the west, Emalahleni and Intsika Yethu to the north, and Amahlathi to the east. KwaDukuza

KwaDukuza Municipality forms part of the iLembe District Municipality area (DC29), and lies on the east coast of KwaZulu-Natal, between eThekwini Metro in the south and Tugela River mouth in the north. The KwaDukuza municipal area stretches from the Zinkwazi River in the north to the UThongathi River in the South. The name KwaDukuza epitomizes the historical background of the area being the home to King Shaka’s Gravesite and Memorial. Mamusa

Mamusa Local Municipality (NW393) covers a total area of approximately 3 681 km². This land mass is 7,8% of the total area of the Dr. Ruth S Mompati District Municipality. The administrative centre of the municipality is in the rural area of Schweizer-Reneke situated on the banks of the Harts River and at the foot of the Mamusa hills. The town of Schweizer-Reneke is the only town in Mamusa Local Municipality and is surrounded by agricultural farms. Schweizer-Reneke is the main administration centre for the local municipality and is closer to the township called Ipelegeng. Other townships under Mamusa Local Municipality include Amalia, Glodina, Migdol and Sharon.
