Rawsonville is named after Sir Rawson W Rawson, who was the colonial secretary at the Cape for 10 years from 1854. Known for the Breedekloof Wine Route with its 22 Cellars and Wine Estates, it also hosts the annual Breedekloof Extreme Sports Festival. (GPS coordinates: 33.6795 S, 19.3271 E).
