Important Notice: Statistician General: I have reinstated the GHS 2010 report that was withdrawn in May this year and you will notice that the disability chapter as reported on page 19 is lower than the figure previously provided. This is due to the fact that children under 5 years of age were removed from the analysis for reason that disability information provided by the survey could be skewed for these age groups. In addition, as part of the regular quality management process and given that the forthcoming census will provide information on the listing of dwellings as well as new content results, we shall begin a process of reviewing the series in the light of the population census results. Stats SA regret any inconvenience this longer than expected review might have caused. Similarly I have revised the 2009 disability information.
